Summary:

With the price of gas I wanted a somewhat short and simple hunt where I shot a signal over Lake Murray Community Park and bounced it off of Cowles Mountain. So we started a little early around 4:45 and arriving first at 5:20 was the three generation Elkerton team with Bill W6ZM, Bryan KI6DUR and 3 ½ year old Noah. Coming in second was Tom K6VCR with a new hunter Tim AJ6XP from Santee. Following up in third were Robert N9SCD and Bill KM6ORF with Robert. By 6:20 we were done and went off to the Pioneer restaurant for dinner.
